Chocolate Party Update

On Sunday, Feb. 22, the MSU Museum held their 20th annual Chocolate Party Benefit at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

This year, the party contributed $15,000 in funding for the MSU Museum and attracted a total of 900 people including attendees, volunteers and competitors, according to Lora Helou, the communications director for the MSU Museum.

The money raised during the event goes toward the preservation and care of the MSU Museum and its exhibits.

“Funds have been used for protective cabinetry, which provides the space, security and support that collections need for research and use by future generations,” Helou said.
