NFL Draft 2010 in Soundslides

The NFL Draft took place this past weekend from Thursday  night to Saturday afternoon.

by Associated Press

Although it is held annually, this year was special as it was the 75th draft in the NFL’s history.  Also, it was the first year held in prime time.

Because it was a three-day event, it gave front offices more time to make trades.  In the course of the three days, there were 34 total trades made.

Many hall of fame players were there in honor of it being the 75th anniversary of the draft.  Every so often they would take commissioner Roger Goodell’s place in announcing the player drafted.
